Overview
Great Options
Periodical Widget Visibility Pro helps you to take the organization of widget visibility out of your daily work routine and therefore, saves you a lot of time. You have various options for scheduling the visibility of WordPress widgets that allow you to display your widgets at the exact time you want.

Features
Show and hide widgets repeatedly at the desired times of day, days and months within an annual period. Therefore, various options are available for displaying the widget.
Options
You can fine tune the daily visibility based on the time of the weekday, from a start time to an end time in the day.
- Choose the weekday: Monday, Thusday, Wednesday, Thurseday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Set the time periode from 0:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
You can control the visibility of the widget based on every day of a month, from 1 to 31, and every month of a year.
As the months can have 28, 29, 30 or 31 days, but you want to use the last day of each month, there is an additional option “last day” which selects the last day of a month regardless of the length of the month.
The option ‘Weekdays of month‘ enables you to select every ordinal number, every day of a week, from Monday to Sunday, and every month of a year to control the visibility of the widget. If you want to pick the last weekday in every month, you can take the option ‘last‘.
- You can select the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and last day of weekdays. For example: show the widget each second Monday.
- You can choose between all weekdays and months. For example: show the widget each first Saturday in January.
The option ‘Periode in year‘ enables you to select every day of the month (1 – 31) and every month of a year to control the visibility of the widget. For example, show the widget from May 15 to September 30 of 2024
You also have a filter for the year available. You can select the year in which the settings for displaying the widget apply. If you leave the field empty, the filter applies to every year.
Cache handling
There is a “Clear cache” option available. You have the possiblity to use it by clicking on: Clear cache automatically if the visibility status has changed. Available for Autoptimize, Cache Enabler, LiteSpeed Cache, W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, WP Fastest Cache, WP Optimize.
Periodical Widget Visibility Pro has no site effects to cache plugins. So, it can happen that a cached page shows a widget although the scheduler settings says to hide it, and vice versa.
It is up to your cache settings how the visibility of a widget is considered. Maybe it is helpful to empty the cache automatically once a day.
